External Response to Intervention Coach - Waukegan Public Schools, Waukegan, IL                                 2012-2014

 

Designed and implemented a professional development curriculum for staff and administration, performed strategic coaching and monitored staff progress delivering increased staff competency and student success in a low performing district. Supplemental responsibilities included orchestrating multiple databases, performing data manipulations, report design & generation, school and district wide data analysis, assessment tool design and analysis, various program implementations including: monitoring, logistics and collaborative action planning.

 Peace Corps, Teacher Trainer – Vlore, Albania                                                                                         2010-2012

 

Served as a volunteer for the Directorate of Education providing professional development for Peace Corps volunteers and native educators in all country sectors. Effective skill and methodology transfer yielded improvements in the standard of education across the nation. Creation, launch and implementation of multiple projects both independently and in collaboration with other international non-profit organizations such as World Vision and the Special Olympics fueled cultural exchanges, dramatically increasing member satisfaction.

Reading Intervention Educator - Waukegan High School, Waukegan, IL                                                     2008-2010

 

Through instruction with Scholastic’s Read 180 program and Reading Academy, students received an increase in reading skills while demonstrating growth on nation-wide assessments. Other responsibilities included differentiating lessons based on student data, providing enrichment instruction and building competency skills.
