The experience as a Teacher Trainer in the Peace Corps paved the way into the position as an External RtI Instructional Coach. Methodologies, strategies and practices were honed in a foreign environment and then brought to Waukegan, Illinois. Throughout the two years as an External Coach, there was never a day that was the same and my continuous improvement as a leader was sparked from the district's unique needs.

An informal example of tracking my own daily activity as a coach, meeting with various content teachers and specialists to address special objectives.

My professional action plan to address a need I determined in my coaching skills, data analysis and report generation:

A CHAMPS! professional development session with the RtI team and presenter, Randy Sprick of Safe and Civil Schools.

The RtI team and the Math Specialist at the ASCD 2013 Conference in Chicago.
