In 2008, Greg Campone and PJ Flaherty founded a non-profit recycling organization that employs mentally and physically disabled adults as 90% of their staff. The organization collects new and used electronics, as well as other goods, as donations from religious organizations, schools, companies and political establishments. The donations are assessed for resale or scrap to recycle. The mission is admirable as they contribute greatly to the preservation of the environment through recycling, but they also impact the direct lives of people living with disabilities by providing a safe environment for employment.
